Shipping and general storage aren’t the only uses for 20ft shipping containers. In fact, they can be used for a range of applications including bespoke shop use, pubs, studios and canteens.

The industries these containers can be used in are just as varied – construction, agriculture, firework shops and sports clubs are just some examples that have taken advantage of our 20ft shipping containers.

We offer a selection of new and used 20ft containers. All are built with with 27mm flooring (plywood), a multitude of lashing points and air vents, and are fully watertight and windproof. All new 20ft containers come with a lock box too, whereas these are optional in used containers.

Our 20ft shipping containers are easily convertible, with alterations including window and door alterations, roller shutter doors, and the addition of lighting, heating and electrics. For this reason, 20ft containers are our most popular container.

All 20ft x 8ft x 8ft 6" new 'one-trip' shipping containers are manufactured in China, they then have one cargo trip over to the UK before being re-sold. This explains the term 'one-trip' which is often used to describe 'new' condition containers sold in the UK. One-trip containers are typically less than 6 months old when re-sold, they have only been used once.

New units are constructed using high-quality cor-ten steel which is designed to stand up to the harsh rigours of sea conditions - due to this harsh environment they are manufactured to a high standard and are 100% wind and watertight to protect their cargo.

If you require your new container for shipping goods overseas, the initial CSC certification lasts for 5 years from the date of manufacture. This date is clearly stated on the CSC plate which is located on the double doors of the unit. A containers CSC certification can be updated after this 5 year period.

New shipping containers are fitted with a lock box on the double doors as standard (a metal box is welded onto the double doors to enclose a padlock, thus making it less tamper proof).
